Puppies and Kittens

Things you commonly ask us about puppies and kittens:

1.

What do I feed my puppy or kitten?

Puppies and kittens need high quality protein sources and the correct balance of vitamins and minerals to help with their growth and development.  This can be achieved by feeding a premium puppy or kitten diet until they are one year of age.

2.

How do I housetrain my puppy?

We recommend the Crate Training method for housetraining.  Look here for general Housetraining Tips.

3.

At what age should puppies have their tails docked and dewclaws removed?

Up to 5 days of age.  The bigger the breed, the sooner the better.

4.

How do I care for my orphan puppy or kitten?
